long time dream

I've had slightly different versions of the same dream several times... The only things that really changed in the dream were the pictures hanging on the wall of the gallery and the places I was going to take photos!!

Basically, in my dream I "owned" my gallery... yay! It (the building) was given to me by a gentleman... a rather rich eccentric gentleman... this gentleman liked my style of art (weird abstract). He even brought a few of my peices to hang on the walls in his house!

Also at this gallery there were other artists... One chickadee did various kinds of pottery and she did one piece that went wonky... she put a $50 price tag on it because she didn't like it... A man came in and brought a rediculously huge picture I had done and the wonky pot... he paid $5000 for the wonky pot... He liked it! A lot!

Basically the eccentric gentleman paid for me to go wherever I wanted to take photos... the condition was that the gallery was open at least 6 days a week with room for up to 4 artists to work and have a place to display their work! That was no problem to me... a percentage of the sales went back into the gallery to purchase art stuff and the rest went to the individual artist who created the piece!

Wonderful dream... if only I could find an eccentric gentleman to fund such a thing!!
