oh the joys

I am so not enjoying this stage of making my website... I want a simple page where people can click on what they want and hit submit and I get the information as an email... apparently from what I understand (and to be honest in this area that isn't much) I have to turn my humble little computer into a server!! Am I happy about this? No I am not! My computer is a workhorse not an internet server! It processes photos and art not acts as a server!

On the plus side of my website - my home page is almost completed - just needs a few tweeks on the text! And other than changing the photos my Pet page, jewellery and gem page and events page and landscape/scenery pages are done! I even have a contact page! And a link that takes my viewers directly to this blog... Yay! but the most important bit to get me my sales - I haven't the foggiest idea of how to do! Or for that matter if I can do it at all! Am I annoyed? Yes I am. This website was supposed to be done months ago and up and running by now - but it goes to show - if you want something done, sometimes you gotta do it yourself. And in this case, it meant learning html and all that weird stuff! At least with me doing it myself - I wont have to pay someone to make changes everytine I want to change something!!

I have potential clients wanting me to do photography for them, I have people interested in my landscape photography and I've had someone ask me to take some shots of their dogs and cat! Life is starting to get busier - which is why I need to do this website ASAP because otherwie I will get so busy I wont have time to finish the website and I will have it sitting on my computer not generating me anything!

So I guess I'd better get back to it!!
