Ego??

I was reading a blog today... (just one of many)... it was talking about marketing! Something I have been reading a lot about of late! And it said that clients want to know what comes from your heart! They may want to see what awards you've earned but more importantly they want to see what comes from your heart... What you can do that you are passionate about?

For me, what I am passionate about is landscapes and animals... A tree doesn't complain that it looks overweight in a photo I just took of it! And a dog doesn't ask me if it's butt looks big - it just smiles and wags its tail!!

I guess this is why I don't feel comfortable doing wedding and portrait photography! I just don't feel comfortable and relaxed doing it! I definately do prefer the solitude of a scenery or the happiness of an animal!

Don't mind me - I'm just sorting out boundaries in business! Being new at all this, it is a little bit of a learning curve! And I strongly feel I need to sort out what I will and will not do before I have people coming to me and asking me to photograph their wedding or something like that!

So, with all that said - I think I'd better get back to it!
