take what I have and make it work

I have a camera... how to make it work for me... well - I thought I was doing that - however I am not earning anything from it... yet...

I have written some ads - probably not the greatest ads... I'm new to marketing! I'm trying to use my brain for something completely different!
I have boundaries - when I will work and when I wont... this is to balance work and family! And to not get overwhelmed with work!

Question - how does one engage someone in something they have very little interest in??

Question - how does one encourage feedback?

I have talked about what I want to do... And yes I still want to do it!! I have also asked for support... but likes and followers don't help financially! So how do I turn a "like" and a "follower" into a customer who is happy with a framed or mounted photo hanging on their wall??

I've been told to tell my "story" and let that do the selling for me... I've also told to just put my photos out there and wait - kinda like fishing - but I've never really been any good at fishing, I can only remember ever catching one fish! (which was rather tasty.) I've also been told to give people a reason for purchasing a photo! Tried that too...

I guess I just continue with what I'm doinf and see what works!
