learning curve

I think I have finally learnt to use the flash my loving husband gave me a year or so ago. It has all these settings that I had no idea about... I decided last night that I would try and re-read the instructions. Something finally twigged in my head last night. Although without more practice and experimentation I don't know if I will fully master the thing. And at the moment I can't practice on my family- they are all somewhat blinded by the light!! :)
