While my husband were out shopping last (a few days ago). I found this... The reason I checked is because I happen to like this particular brand of tuna, its just too expensive to buy. I looked at the price tag and it said save 29cents... I never recalled paying $2.29 for a very small can of tuna, so I lifted the "special" tag... Original price $2. Where does Woolworths get off claiming that something is on special when its not?? This "shelf price specials" is just a sick way of squeezing more money out of people who have little to no money to begin with. And everytime I find this kind of crap I'm going to post it... Its called name and shame. And if enough people start doing it - things might one day change...
Another gripe I have with Woolworths is this crap about giving farmers one days profit. Woolworths can afford to give more than that... To begin with they should give farmers what they deserve - instead of a pitance for their crops they should tripple their pay (at the minimum)!!
Woolworths are not the fresh food people, they are lying theives!
