What have I learnt since starting out?

Well, in answer to that question - a lot!

Ok, I think a little more detail is needed here!

Firstly, if you don't know something, ask! Stupid questions are only stupid questions if they don't get asked!

Secondly, take notes. I will need to get a new note book in the next few weeks. Its almost full!

Thirdly, pay attention, an animal has the potential to walk or fly away before you've pushed the shutter button! And another thing, pay attention to your camera settings. I posted a rather blurry tree a little while ago! I also disallow others from using my camera simply because others have changed my settings (typically from fully manual to fully auto) and have forgotten to change it back! Not good!

And lastly, don't give up! I've learnt to ignore a couple of people who tell me I can't and shouldn't take photos! I have found there will always be people who, for whatever reason, don't want you to do what you enjoy!

And remember, there will always be people better than you, and there will always be people worse than you!
