blessings- (this was typed last night before I went to bed)

I should really be in bed... Just finished watching Sherlock Holmes... Anyway - not why I am here...

A while ago my electric frypan died... was to be expected due to the things age... What I found so frustrating with it was that it chose to die whilst we were in the middle of renovations that had not surprisingly run very much over budget! I made mention of this little fact in my monthly email updates to my family... I had come to the conclusion that I would just have to learn to live without an electric frypan for a while! So, we settled in to life without said frypan... I was almost used to the idea! It did frustrate me sometimes... But I lived!

My father and step mother came to visit us (to help with said renovations)... And while they were visiting my lovely step mum took me out shopping... firstly I got some much needed clothing items, Gav got new slippers and Onjahlika got another set of warm pj’s, stockings and slippers... Then she marched me into retrovision to the frypan area... I asked her what we were doing there and she said that she recalled reading about our frypan that died... She had thought about this and had decided to bless us by buying a new frypan... I now have a lovely frypan that is bigger than the last! While they were visiting, the microwave decided that it’s just over 6 years of life had come to an end... it had been dying for a little while, but chose to croak while dad and mum were with us... so out shopping I get taken again for a replacement! So I feel I need to tell the world just how much God has blessed my family thru my parents... Oh and a really huge ‘thank you’ to Dad and Mum... Appreciate you guys! Why do you live so damn far away?

The renovations are almost complete (well - this particular project anyway! But that’s a different story!)
