I cant remember where we were - however we had to slow down due to these sheep being on the road... there was a hole in the fence and sheep were just wandering thru and standing in the middle of the road!
Sheep are strange things... with cows you can drive past and they just stand there and look at you! But sheep, they will be indecisive as to which side of the road they will run on - thus crossing the road several times. They will also be indecisive as to what speed they will move alternating between a flat out run to a lazy half hearted walk! Then there are the sheep who camoflage themselves so they blend into their environment... at one place we used to camp at we called them brown moving rocks...
As the story goes - we were driving along and considering how to either drive over or around this large rock on the track when it stood up and walked away! One extremely dusty sheep! We had assumed that we were in a fairly rocky paddock... Sheep!!
